Biography

Salma Abdelaziz is a Peabody award winning and Emmy nominated Middle East Editor on CNN's International desk, the hub of the network's newsgathering operation. During her career at CNN her field producing assignments have included the coup of President Mohamed Morsy and subsequent crackdown on the Muslim Brotherhood in Cairo, 2013 demonstrations in Turkey's Taksim Square, and the Syrian refugee influx in Lebanon among other news events.
