Over two years ago, a Portuguese crime show premiered on Netflix, initially going unnoticed by many. Created by Augusto Fraga, Turn of the Tide dramatically recounts the true story of when 500 kilograms of cocaine washed up on the shore of São Miguel Island. The first season quickly burst out of the herd of new Netflix releases and ended up taking a place in the streaming platform’s most-watched global leaderboard.

It has been 12 long years since the last Splinter Cell video game was released. Sam Fisher has all but vanished from the minds of Ubisoft developers. Surprisingly, Netflix has taken on the mission of reintroducing the world to this NSA black ops agent. Premiering in October 2025, Splinter Cell: Deathwatch will have actor Liev Schreiber voice the title role in an animated, eight-episode first season. The streaming platform seems to be sweeping something under the rug, though.

If not anything else, Brown Bag Diaries: Ridin' the Blinds in B Minor is certainly a challenging tongue twister. Put that charming use of alliteration to the side for the moment and that playful combination of words is actually the title of Jason Momoa's third production on his long list of films. Back in 2010, he was actually on both sides of the camera. Momoa not only starred in this elusive short but also took on the roles of director, screenwriter, and executive producer.
