Severe Weather Here's how tornadoes form and how to stay safe when a Tornado Warning is issued. While most recent touchdowns have been categorized as EF-0 or EF-1 by the NOAA, they can still cause major damage and can be deadly.

Yesterday's storm dropped a few inches of snow across much of the state. Expect a good day for the clean up with clearing skies and temperatures reaching the upper 30s to low  40s with a blustery west wind. A cold front will cross the area this afternoon that will drop temperatures tonight, and for the next several days this week. Make sure you take advantage of the mild temperatures today, as this will be the best time to clear any snow from the back decks or porches.

The colder air place will set the stage for our next winter storm. Saturday morning you may wake up to some early morning sunshine. But the clouds will quickly take over. The morning is dry for any weekend activities. Snow will start 2 - 5 PM on Saturday and could come down moderate to heavy over a short period of time, quickly covering the roads through the afternoon and into the early evening.
