What was your first job as a journalist?

Two weeks work experience at The Times during the 2018 World Cup. I researched for longform articles and shadowed journalist, Rebecca Myers.

What does it mean to be a journalist?

An opportunity to express yourself and entertain readers through writing/broadcasting by providing your own informative perspective.

What's your favorite social network?

Twitter as the site provides the latest news from a wide variety of sources. Twitter also provides a platform to engage with active readers.

Why did you become a journalist?

My passion for writing merged with my passion for sport. Both provide entertainment for me so to be involved in the industry is fantastic.

What story are you most proud of writing or working on?

My match report for Stevenage's FA Cup victory over Hull City as this was a game full of twists and turns throughout with a shock ending.

Aside from your own, what's your favorite publication to read?

Sky Sports News articles as their written work thoroughly entertains me throughout, providing a unique/informative take on the sports news.
