It's devaluing the term "news" which makes it a lot harder to find and understand the truth.
What does it mean to be a journalist?
In a nutshell, don't lie to your readers. It seems simple, but these days, just being honest seems to be a challenge for a lot of folks.

I'm familiar with a number of project management software programs along with typical communication platforms like Skype and Teams.

I enjoy writing, telling stories, and exploring the world around me. What better way to do so than through journalism?

I still feel like an aspiring journalist so I suppose the best advice is just to keep learning wherever you can.
