1. Introduction The concept of foamed mortar (FM) is widely understood to be a flexible and lightweight material that possesses a consistently dispersed pore structure, which is obtained through the mechanical injection of air in the form of tiny bubbles [,,,,]. The composition of this material consists of Portland cement paste or a cement filler matrix (mortar), with a minimum total volume of 20% []. The density of FM can be adjusted within the range of 400 to 1600 kg/m3 [].
