1 Introduction Infection by spirochetes of the Borrelia burgdorferi sensu lato (B.b.s.l.) group may cause Lyme borreliosis (LB) or Lyme disease, a multisystemic localized or generalized infectious syndrome with early or late clinical manifestations (Steere, 1989; Stanek and Strle, 2003). The infection is transmitted by hard-bodied ticks and borreliosis is of concern as a common and emerging disease with considerable local epidemiologic variation (Steere et al., 2004).

The University of Wisconsin Frozen Meals Program recently announced a third location for meal pickups at UW Hillel on Wednesdays from 4 to 6 p.m., expanding their mission to combat food insecurity on campus. UW Hillel is a center for Jewish life on campus and is located at 611 Langdon Street.

The Democratic National Committee named 2010 University of Wisconsin graduate Sam Cornale as its new executive director. The DNC is responsible for governing the Democratic Party, the oldest continuing party committee in the United States, and has been its home since 1848. According to the Wisconsin State Journal, Cornale is originally from Madison and graduated from La Follette High School. Cornale majored in political science at UW before beginning his political career.
