English Urban agriculture and Protected Natural Areas (ANP) present different types of encounters, depending especially on the size of the gardens and the type of management practices. The aim of this study was to describe the links that have emerged between urban agriculture and the PNAs of the city of Xalapa (Veracruz). To do this, the location points of some urban gardens mapped with the city's ANP layers were integrated to analyse their proximity using Arcgis.
