2.2 Blood sampling and treosulfan concentration determination To assess treosulfan PK, blood samples were collected into lithium heparin tubes (2 mL) and acidified with 25 μL of 1 M citric acid to ensure treosulfan does not convert into its metabolites. Samples were collected prior to the treosulfan infusion, then at intervals of 5 min, 30 min and 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9 h from the end of the treosulfan infusion.
