A man was assaulted in a Leeds suburb, it has been reported. The man suffered a serious hand injury in Bodmin Approach, Middleton, at 4.44am on Sunday, June 14. He was rushed to hospital for treatment. Police are treating it as a wounding with intent. A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "At 4.44am yesterday (Sunday), police received a report of a man with a serious hand injury in Bodmin Approach, Middleton. Officers attended and the man, in his thirties, was taken to hospital for treatment.
