The annual Community GP Run returns this year, travelling to Phillip Island from Caldermeade Farm on Saturday October 18. Registration is essential. Numbers will be capped so register online at Eventbrite.com.au (Phillip Island Community GP Run) to avoid disappointment. Several hundred riders are expected to take part.

Bass Coast Shire Council is inviting the community to take part in an interactive Climate Action Plan Review Workshop at Berninneit in Cowes on Saturday October 25, from 10.30am to 3pm. The workshop is part of the mid-term review of Council's Climate Action Plan 2020-2030, offering locals the chance to reflect on what's been achieved so far, share lived experiences, and help set the priorities for the next five years of climate action across the region.

Presented by the Rhyll Tennis Club. The Rhyll Tennis Club invites seniors to join in the fun of pickleball! A social sport that’s easy to learn and great for fitness. Across seven ‘come and try’ sessions during the Seniors Festival starting from Friday, 3 October, friendly club members will guide participants through the basics, with all equipment provided. These welcoming sessions are a chance to meet new people, stay active, and enjoy the supportive community atmosphere at the Rhyll courts.
