Data This study utilized data from the unique longitudinal survey of adolescents aged 10–19 (Understanding the lives of adolescent and young adults study—hereafter referred to as UDAYA study/survey) in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh. The first wave of the survey was conducted in 2015–2016, and the follow-up survey in 2018–2019. A state-representative sample of unmarried boys and girls aged 10–19 and married girls aged 15–19 was collected in the 2015–16 survey.
