Abstract Approximately 10–20% of U.S. adolescents report past-year cannabis use (CU). Although regular CU beginning in adolescence is expected to blunt dopamine-related neurophysiology, this hypothesis has not been tested in adolescents due to methodological limitations. However, neurophysiology contributing to dopamine can be noninvasively indexed via subcortical tissue iron measured with magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).

MONTVILLE, Maine (WABI/Gray News) - The father of a volunteer firefighter who was badly injured in an explosion at a Maine lumber mill says his son faces a long road to recovery. Henry Spaulding says his son, 23-year-old Jacob Spaulding, and all the first responders who responded Friday to a fire that led to an explosion at Robbins Lumber in Searsmont deserve the highest praise. “They’re heroes in my eyes. My son is my hero,” Henry Spaulding said.
