‘There’s such a connection’: Vietnam veteran says Alex Pretti helped save his life

MINNEAPOLIS (CNN) - A Vietnam veteran says Alex Pretti recently played a big part in helping save his life. Pretti impacted the research that saved Dan Goedken’s life. Dan Goedken’s wife, Karen, said she made the connection while reading about Pretti after he was shot and killed by ICE agents over the weekend. “I’m still kind of in shock that there’s such a connection for us in terms of community,” Karen Goedken said.
