Massive Upper Gastrointestinal Bleeding With Splenomegaly due to Primary Gastric Burkitt Lymphoma in a Child
To the Editor, Massive or significant upper gastrointestinal bleeding (UGIB) in children is defined as acute bleeding resulting in either a fall in haemoglobin (Hb) (> 20 g/L), a fall in systolic or diastolic blood pressure (< 2 SD for age/≥ 20 mmHg drop from baseline), or requirement for blood transfusion.
