The Jackson Hole Snow Devils have officially canceled the 2026 World Championship Snowmobile Hill Climb, traditionally held on Snow King Mountain in Jackson, Wyoming. The decision was announced today after extensive evaluation of current snow conditions and careful review of multiple potential alternate routes. Organizers determined there is simply not enough snow coverage on the traditional course to safely and successfully host the event.

The Webster Groves Parks and Recreation Department hosted an open house earlier this week to garner feedback on proposed improvements to Ivory Crockett Park. City officials and design consultants showcased several options for the upgrades including a new splash pad, shaded area and public restrooms. The existing restrooms at the park would be torn down as part of the project.

The northeast entrance to Webster Groves is getting a makeover thanks to a partnership between Great Rivers Greenway and the city of Webster Groves. Construction is now underway on Oxford Bend Park at the intersection of Oxford Boulevard and Big Bend in Webster Groves, which is near Maplewood. The new park will occupy vacant land that was previously the site of a McDonald’s restaurant.
