Aquinas soccer ready to put best foot forward at State

La Crosse, Wis. (WXOW) Aquinas soccer is heading back to Wisconsin's biggest stage, the WIAA State Tournament. The Blugolds will make their eight appearance overall and will play The Prairie School Friday. This is their first trip since 2017 but for this particular group, it's been a work in progress. Head coach Doug Harpenau is in his third season. He inherited a team that was 4-9 the year before.

Mike Dee retires as Aquinas baseball coach

La Crosse, Wis. (WXOW) Aquinas High School is looking for a new baseball coach. Mike Dee is retiring according to the schools Facebook page and confirmed by activities director Pam Donarski. Dee had one of the most remarkable four-year runs of any head coach. He led Aquinas to state in three of his four seasons, winning the state title in 2024 and finishing runner-up another time. Aquinas was 89-17 under Dee's leadership and won three MVC titles.
