Scott Hayes’s Biography
Scott Hayes joined the Fitzhugh as its Ecology and Environment Reporter in July 2022 under Local Journalism Initiative funding provided by News Media Canada.
Before that, he was a reporter at the St. Albert Gazette for 14 years, and its freelance movie critic for four years before that.
He previously freelanced with the Edmonton Journal, See Magazine, and the U of A Gateway, and he was the editor at the NAIT Nugget as well.
His writing experience covers news articles, advertisements, opinion pieces, book/performance/movie reviews, press releases, annual reports, and speeches.
