1 Introduction Hydroxyl-terminated polybutadiene (HTPB) has remained the benchmark soft-segment pre-polymer for segmented polyurethanes (PUs) in high-performance applications for decades [1, 2]. HTPB's popularity, particularly within the aerospace and defense sectors, stems from its high hydrophobicity, low glass transition temperature (Tg), and excellent loading capacity for energetic fillers and oxidizers.
