MENA, Ark. (KATV) — A Friday afternoon drive through Mena turned chaotic when a pickup truck was struck by three Canadian Pacific Kansas City locomotive engines at a busy crossing near downtown. The crash happened at about 12:30 Friday afternoon at the crossing at Mena Street and Highway 71. Witnesses said the driver, described as a young male whose name was not officially provided, was driving north and crossing Mena Street at Highway 71 when the train hit.
