The OneFortyOne Pioneers’ finals hopes will come down to the final game of the season after suffering a disappointing 83-57 defeat to Keilor in round 14 of the NBL1 South on Friday night. The Mount Gambier women went down to Keilor 57-83 at Wulanda, in front of a solid crowd. In support of NBL1 South’s ‘Naming Rights Round’, the Pioneers were sporting a new blue strip in partnership with OneFortyOne and ac.care, with the players’ jerseys auctioned off post-game to raise funds for ac.care.

The OneFortyOne Pioneers will be keen to continue their winning ways when they return to their home court against the Kilsyth Cobras tomorrow night. The women enter round 11 of the 2026 NBL1 South season following two blockbuster wins last weekend, including a double overtime victory against the Northern Force. The Pioneers ground out the win in an edge of the seat thriller, before backing up two days later to easily account for Geelong United.

The OneFortyOne Pioneers return home to the Wulanda this Friday night and Sunday afternoon for round 10 of the 2026 NBL1 South season, with the Northern Force and Geelong United heading to town for what shapes as two crucial clashes. The Pioneers head into the contest after having no game during the long weekend.
