WGVU Public Radio and NPR present the launch of a new pop-up concert series. In the intimate style of NPR’s “Tiny Desk” concerts, these pop up shows will showcase Michigan musicians. The first artist to perform will be Lady Ace Boogie, on Tuesday, November 13th at The Pyramid Scheme. Showtime is 6:30pm    WGVU has this conversation with one of the finest hip hop artists in Michigan.

Author Joyce Goldstein The New Mediterranean Jewish Table: Old World Recipes for the Modern World is a new cookbook by Joyce Goldstein that explores the rich traditions of food going back centuries. Goldstein was the chef-owner of Square One in San Francisco in the 1980s and was a part of the California movement that fostered the farm-to-table food philosophy. Since 1996 she has been a prolific author, having written over 25 books on a variety of food topics.
