It has been a long innings with SIR, VP to colleagues, and in the fitness of things I owe it to him and the people he has worked and associated with to pen his journey to get insight into his qualities which took him to the pinnacle of his career and luminary of the industry. VP started his career at a very young age in Calcutta which was then the industrial capital of India in the early 60's when he was still in Intermediate Class at Xavier’s College.
