The return of Donald Trump to the White House has unleashed a torrent of analysis and stark realizations. While many were stunned by the MAGA re-emergence and the chaotic implications of Trump’s presidency, the core issues driving this upheaval cannot be ignored.

Climate litigation, which provides a new agenda for change, traces its origins back to the late 1980s in the United States. Since then, it has exploded into a worldwide phenomenon. Between 1986 and 2014, 834 cases were filed. Fast forward to today, this number has soared to over 2,300 cases globally, with two-thirds emerging since 2015.
