Turns out it was DU's one-person welcoming committee, newyawker99, welcoming me to DU - she was my first DU friend and DU has been my online home ever since. I've not only learned so much, but I learned I was not alone. I'd always voted, but when 9/11 happened here in New York I totally panicked and knew I needed to learn more.
