The participants in the study were three students with mild intellectual disabilities who met the research participation criteria. To be eligible for participation in the study, students were required to demonstrate a 90% accuracy rate in solving BAFs, albeit at a slower pace (e.g., by counting fingers). Additionally, they were required to have no other disabilities besides intellectual disabilities and provide written informed consent from their parent, and maintain regular school attendance.
