The best books with zombie main characters
Imagine coming back from the dead only to realize the world doesn't want you: You move in with parents who are disgusted by you, random strangers on the street throw food or pull mean jokes on you and your friends, and being caught out past your curfew sends you to the dog pound. That's the life that Andy Warner reanimates into after a fatal accident. It's not all bad, though.

How to Write a Novel
First, pick a space in your home where you will do your writing. Someplace where you can cultivate your creativity. Ideally this will be separate from your communal living or gathering area and where you’re less likely to lounge, take naps, or turn on the television. Preferably in a room without windows and with a lock on the door to keep out inquisitive family members and housemates.

[GUEST POST] S.G. Browne’s Confessions of a Non-Genre Genre Author
Confessions of a Non-Genre Genre Author by S.G. Browne They say confession is good for the soul. In that case, I had a Rick Springfield mullet in high school, I was handcuffed naked to an anchor in college, and I watch Waterworld every time it plays on cable. Also, while I don’t consider myself a genre author, I write in multiple genres. Not that there’s anything wrong with being a genre author. I have numerous friends who are authors of horror, mystery, and sci-fi.
