Brabus has announced an even crazier spin on the catchily titled Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S E Performance with this new ‘1000’ version. As you can probably guess, that means its twin-turbo hybrid V8 produces exactly… 986hp. That’s 1,000 PS, of course. An equally impressive 1,620Nm of torque is the other headline figure, and allows Brabus’ take on the 2+2, four-wheel drive super coupe to get from 0 to 100kph in 2.6sec. Off the line, that makes it faster than the new McLaren W1 hypercar.
