We are pleased to announce that we are now accepting nominations for the 2027 ASLO Awards! The deadline for nominations is Thursday, 1 October 2026 at 11:59 PM EDT (3:59 AM UTC on 2 October 2026). The ASLO Awards recognize outstanding accomplishments across the aquatic science community. We seek nominees that reflect ASLO’s commitment to inclusion across race, gender, age, identity, and geography.

ASLO Executive Director Teresa Curto has announced she will be stepping down from the role at the end of this year. During her nearly thirteen-year tenure, Curto has successfully guided ASLO through several transformative changes, including forming strategic partnerships that have advanced ASLO’s mission to create, integrate, communicate knowledge across the aquatic sciences.
