Dass Shannon Barnett in gleich zwei Besetzungen auftritt, mag als weiterer Beleg dafür gelten, wie lebendig und kreativ die Kölner Jazzlandschaft ist. Seit zwölf Jahren bereichert die Posaunistin, Pianistin, Sängerin und Professorin an der Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln mit originellen Beiträgen die Szene. Einst kam sie direkt aus New York nach Köln, um in der WDR Big Band Posaune zu spielen.
