When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?

On my phone! Or reading a book or trying out a new Boston restaurant to get away from screen time.

What's the most common misperception about your beat?

Travel writing isn't as glamorous as some think. A day-long adventure tour in a muddy Puerto Rico river has been my favorite press event.
