What was your first job as a journalist?
My first paid job as a writer was through a mentoring scheme with the Journal of Music in 2017

Why did you become a journalist?
Because I love writing, it's the only thing I've ever felt drawn towards doing
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
I wrote for the newspaper SIN at NUI Galway. I covered news stories on campus and arts and music events. I later became Arts & Ents Editor
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
My opinion piece on David Keenan and the music of Dundalk
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Build up writing samples and start sending them out to publications as much as you can!
When's the best time to pitch you?
Any time during working hours, Mon-Fri
What's your favorite drink?
Water. Boring but hydrating!
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
Out for a walk, at a concert or cooking a meal
