A round-up of recent news from the Blackwater Valley Opera Festival, Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council and Music Network, RTÉ Radio 1, and the Arts Council. The Blackwater Valley Opera Festival (BVOF) has announced soprano Aimee Kearney and pianist Georgina Cassidy as the recipients of its 2025 Bursary Awards. Each artist was selected by the festival’s Artistic Director and Co-Founder, Dieter Kaegi, and will receive €5,000 to support their professional development and musical careers.
