Abstract Introduction: 25-hydroxyvitamin D [25(OH)D] deficiency is highly prevalent in type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) and may contribute to immune and metabolic dysfunction. This study aimed to investigate the clinical associations of serum 25(OH)D levels with calcium metabolism, inflammation, thyroid function, and autoimmunity in patients with T2DM.
