Magnetic PAES‐COOH Nanofibers as Efficient and Reusable Carriers for Glucose Oxidase Immobilization
Free glucose oxidase (GOx) exhibits high specificity and catalytic efficiency under mild conditions; however, its practical application is limited by poor stability and reusability. In this study, a magnetic nanofiber carrier was fabricated from carboxyl-functionalized polyaryl ether sulfone (PAES-COOH) nanofibers via a facile acid precipitation method.
Disturbing Cholesterol/Sphingolipid Metabolism by Squalene Epoxidase Arises Crizotinib Hepatotoxicity (Adv. Sci. 14/2025)
Graphical Abstract Crizotinib Hepatotoxicity In article number 2414923, Peihua Luo, Hao Yan, Xiangliang Huang, and co-workers report the mechanism of crizotinib hepatotoxicity, wherein crizotinib disturbs normal lipid metabolism through accumulation of squalene epoxidase (SQLE).
Disturbing Cholesterol/Sphingolipid Metabolism by Squalene Epoxidase Arises Crizotinib Hepatotoxicity
1 Introduction Patients with cancer can experience benefits from treatment with small-molecule kinase inhibitors (SMKIs); nevertheless, extensive and serious hepatotoxicity has limited their clinical use due to the poor understanding of their toxic mechanism[1] and a subsequent lack of intervention strategies.
