What does it mean to be a journalist?
Writing factually accurate features that provide insight about interesting topics for various individuals.
How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?
Is this about the setting or topic? I prefer a less formal setting like open space meeting. The topic must be well researched with, no holes.
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
Microsoft word, Adobe reader, Adobe photo stock, Outlook, Skype for business, internal CMS (wordpress for IFLR), Google Analytics

Why did you become a journalist?
I liked researching and writing in all my previous roles as a researcher and paralegal, so it made sense to go into it as it made me happy.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
I was quite shy when it came to writing while I was at school, so I didn't. Instead, I joined the drama club, improv and various committees.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
A Brexit piece that got picked up by UBS and they changed their legal documentation because of it on IFLR Practice Insight
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Keep on, keeping on.
What's the worst pitch you ever got?
Having to do a report on IPOs when no one wanted one :(
