Survivors of one of Northern Ireland's most notorious paedophiles have hit out at the decision to release him. 58-year-old Billy Adams committed horrific sex crimes against children in Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland and England. He is no longer deemed a danger despite being refused parole seven times. The Ministry of Justice told UTV that he will be recalled to prison if he breaks strict licence conditions.

We can exclusively reveal for every one of the 30 women murdered here in just over five years there was a failed attempt to kill three others. If those women had lost their lives police would have been investigating 121 femicides. Police mounted 91 attempted murder investigations.
