4.9. Paracetamol-Induced Hepatoprotective Activity by C. felina Methanolic Leaves Extract in Wister Albino Rats The Wister albino rats were grouped into five sets, each consisting of four animals. In group 1 (Normal), rats were given a normal saline solution (vehicle) at a dosage of 10 mL/kg b.wt.; group 2 (Control) rats were treated with Paracetamol (PC), commonly known as N-acetyl-p-aminophenol (acetaminophen). Group 3 (standard) rats received Silymarine 20 mg/kg b.wt.
