The Impact of Obesity on Cardiovascular Fitness in Young Individuals

This study was designed to evaluate cardiovascular fitness in young individuals with obesity. We found a significant increase in SBP, DBP, and a significant reduction in HFI in individuals with obesity but no difference was found in PR in young individuals with obesity compared to those without obesity. It implies that young individuals with obesity are at higher risk for cardiovascular disease in the future.
