Synthesis of Cl@Ti3C2 for supercapacitor applications and first-principles insights into its enhanced electrochemical properties In this work, we examine the characteristics of Cl@Ti3C2 employing a first-principles approach to assess its suitability for supercapacitor applications. Structural investigations by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) confirm that tiny granules adhered to Cl@Ti3C2's layers, in contrast to the layered morphology of Ti3C2 MXenes.

Validating Superior Electrochemical Outcome for Supercapacitor Application through First-Principles Calculations This work explores the characteristics of two-dimensional (2D) Titanium Carbide (Ti3C2 MXene) and utilizes First Principle calculations to weigh its potential for supercapacitor applications. Scanning electron microscope images confirm the platelet-like morphology and Energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX) analysis supports the extraction of Aluminum from the MAX phase.

Abstract : Phase transitions are an intriguing yet poorly understood aspect of transition-metal-based materials; these phase transitions can result in changes to the refractive index, absorption coefficient, and other optical properties of the materials. Transition-metal-based materials exist in a variety of crystalline phases and also have metallic, semi-metallic, and semi-conducting characteristics.
