Gabriel Lojero, meterologist with the National Weather Service in Phoenix, told The Arizona Republic that Valley residents shouldn't expect rain in the coming week. Much of the region, including the higher terrain areas around metro Phoenix that saw rain earlier in the week, would stay dry through the weekend.
