The U.S. Supreme Court struck down President Trump's sweeping global tariffs on Friday. Within hours, Trump signed a new executive order reimposing 10% across-the-board tariffs under a different legal authority, then escalated the rate to 15% on Saturday. While the ruling could trigger up to $150 billion in business refunds, the consensus is that most retailers will not see these refunds anytime soon, and consumers will not see an immediate drop in prices.
