Belgium won the FIH Hockey Pro League championship to become the first men’s side to clinch a spot at the LA28 Olympic Games on Saturday (27 June). The Red Lions will join hosts USA at the Games after beating the Netherlands 2-1 to capture the title with one match to spare, securing one of 12 quota on offer. Belgium were crowned champions for the second time, the first since 2021. Alexander Hendrickx and Tom Boon scored for Belgium.
