Abstract MicroRNAs are promising liquid biopsy biomarkers, but their clinical translation is hindered by detection challenges, including low abundance, high sequence similarity, and background interference. Here we present SE-SPTM-PCR, a detection platform integrating selective miRNA enrichment using locked nucleic acid probes with specific probe terminal mediated RT-qPCR.

Abstract Broadly neutralizing antibodies (bNAbs) could offer escape-tolerant and lasting protection against viral infections and therefore guide development of broad-spectrum vaccines. The increasing challenge posed by viral evolution and immune evasion intensifies the importance of the discovery of bNAbs and their underlying neutralization mechanism.

Abstract Human enteroviruses (HEV) can cause a range of diseases from mild to potentially life-threatening. Identification and genotyping of HEV are crucial for disease management. Existing typing methods, however, have inherent limitations. Developing alternative methods to detect HEV with more virus types, high accuracy, and sensitivity in an accessible manner presents a technological and analytical challenge.
