個人情報保護委員会（以下、「個人情報委」という。）は、2024年2月29日、株式会社四谷大塚（以下、「本件会社」という。）に対し、個人情報の保護に関する法律（以下、「個情法」という。）147条に基づく指導を行った上、同法146条1項に基づき当該指導にかかる改善状況の報告要求を行った（以下、「本件指導等」という。）。 本件は、中学受験のための学習塾を運営する本件会社において、2022年4月から2023年8月まで講師として勤務していた元従業員（以下、「元講師」という。）が、在職中に、本件会社が業務システム上で管理する在校児童の個人データを検索して閲覧し、自身の私用のスマートフォンに入力して記録し、6人分の個人データ（氏名、年齢、生年月日、住所、所属小学校名および電話番号）を、その写真および動画とともに自身のSNSアカウントに送信・投稿して漏えいさせた事案である。 元講師は、個人情報保護法違反を含む複数の罪状で起訴され、2024年3月11日現在、公判中である...
