Abstract Individuals diagnosed with type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM) are more likely to develop sarcopenia. Sarcopenia is one of the new complications that lead to decreased muscle strength and mass. The objective of the present study is to evaluate the correlation between calf circumference and skeletal mass index among T2DM participants with sarcopenia. This study included 62 individuals diagnosed with T2DM with Sarcopenia aged between 40 and 70 years.
