Highly Efficient Perovskite Solar Cells with Crosslinked PCBM Interlayers

The use of organic interlayers in combination with solution deposited organic metal-halide perovskite layers is hampered by solvent incompatibility. Here, we present a phenyl-C61-butyric acid methyl ester (PCBM) layer crosslinked by 1,6-diazidohexane (DAZH) in order to solve this incompatibility issue. The crosslinked PCBM has robust resistance to N,N-dimethylformamide (DMF), and is used as an efficient interlayer to improve the performance of perovskite solar cells (PSCs).
