What was your first job as a journalist?
I got my first break in journalism when I was in college, by just knocking on the doors of all the Bangla speaking publications and saying I would work for free. I worked as an Reporter at Risingbd in Dhaka. It was my first paid job but not easy!

Why did you become a journalist?
I love to write & want to involve in current affairs, politics & activism. But it was only when I was living in Rajshahi that I decided to really give it a go.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
When I was in high school, I edited the annual magazine two times. We published monthly wall newspaper from our class.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
Stories about Labor rights, migration, education, industry & politics.
