WHAT'S NEW IN .NET8 The .NET 8 has introduced a new type IPNetwork with a Contains method. It retruns true if the given IPAddress is part of the IP network. Otherwise, returns false. In our last post we have seen how we can restrict the access to your application by implementing IP restrictions using ActionFilterAttribute but we were checking the IP addresses and was missing a feature to support the IP Ranges. The good news is that the .NET 8 has a new and efficient way to do this.

Here, in this post we will see, how we can get the Safe List IP addresses asynchronously and add that to configure our ActionFilterAttribute and apply the same to the Web API to make sure that the unidentified requests gets 403 Forbidden. I have a .Net Web API project and I wanted to implement a mechanism via code to make sure that only certain IP addresses are allowed to call that API.

Multi-tenant users from Azure AD + Graph + .Net Core Get users from different tenants using graph Working with Microsoft Graph is fun, but it can get way too complex when the requirement is getting complex. Recently, I was working with such a requirement. I wanted to load users from different tenants, usually, this is too easy, and you just need an admin user in the tenant to load all the users using Graph API.
