Sicheng Wan’s Biography

Sicheng Wan is an award-winning trilingual multimedia journalist trained by Columbia Journalism School, The AP, and NBC News. He previously covered climate change, technology, and international relations for major domestic and international media in China.

He had been focusing on housing issues and immigrant communities in New York since 2021. He reported on privatization of public housing, and tensions among Chinatown as Asian hate incidents ran rampant, using data-processing and visual storytelling skills. He previously earned three bachelor’s degrees of journalism, environmental economics, and public affairs management.
